Cake, the glorious restaurant in a Chestnut Hill greenhouse, is stunning and simply a delicious way to start a Sunday. Frittatas, buttermilk waffles topped with berries, scones, raisin Danish, or pancakes dusted with sugar are all excellent options. I get the cowboy ribeye steak and eggs - pure protein that is simply delicious. The place is part of a gorgeous flower shop and the outside is covered with heavy winding wisteria branches that makes me swoon. The NY Times, my sweet husband, and this gem are a delightful way to unwind and savor good things in life. |
